Grateful

Even when it rains in Glencoe I love being here. Rainbows are plentiful and the scenery seems to hold a ‘special’ kind of light. Some days I find myself gazing out across Loch Leven in simple awe.  One may think I’m smugly gloating but home is where the heart is and after 20 years I’m just so grateful to be here.

Today has been a truly magical day in the highlands. With not a cloud in the sky, the Autumn colours have been out in all their glory…

…and this evening has produced a wonderful sunset…

It’s turning cold now – I had 500Kg of coal delivered this morning. The forecast for the weekend shows the weather coming straight down from the North Pole.  Maybe we’ll soon get our first taste of snow as Autumn starts to give way to Winter.
