Something I read today

Something I read today on "one’s personal competence zone" that made me smile :-
I’ve frequently heard adventure sports broken down into three or more "zones" – comfort, competence, adventure and mis-adventure (or disaster!).
In the comfort zone you’re bored.
In the competence zone you’re achieving, but well within your abilities.
In the adventure zone, you’re pushing yourself and learning, close to the boundaries of your skills and experience.
After that, it all goes pear shaped……
Yeah, those times that it all goes pear shaped !

Hey dude, awesom pics from sandwood bay, looks out of this world. Good to hear there were some surfers taking advantage of it too. Great to find places that you still cant get to by road! I\’d definitly consider checking it out sometime. Maybe combine a surf and trek holiday.
Been catching plenty of waves of late but doing a lot more walking than before. Really taking the time out to make sure I get a good trek in every week. Passed through the new forest the other week, spent a couple of days there exploring the woods. Great camp site too, a small wooden reception at the entrance them a section of forest to camp anywhere you like, really unique. Took sometime to go candaian canoeing, your pics reminded me how good is is to get out on a river or lake. Just the sound of the paddle, sweet.
Anyway, cheers for stopping by, catch you at a time, enjoy the rest of the summer.
