Spring really feels like it’s here.  I got my mountain bike out yesterday and switched the winter tyres for slicks. Had a real blast around the North Worcestershire countryside for an hour or so before the start of my shift. I think I’ll do the first run of the year into the office on Wednesday – 30 mile round trip. The aerobic fitness seems to have suffered over the Winter.  I spent a lot of time on the weights getting ready for the climbing trip to Norway. My heart rate hit 170 bpm this morning down the gym. Seems a while since it was that high. I normally train at about 155-160.
What else…Hmmmmm…. in a blog a while back I mentioned my daughter had to build a model of an island with a map to go with it for her geography lessons.  Here it is. Pretty pleased with it we are too…
